Dear Life #Review

Meghan Quinn proved her existence with this book. When you think of Meghan Quinn’s books you for the most part expect a very humorous read. While there is humor that balances the book out you will definitely be torn up inside for these characters.

From the beginning to the end of this book I was smiling through tears, these characters were broken in the most beautiful way. I could relate more to them than I thought I would. Although, I’ve never had any of these things happen to me to the extreme it did for these characters I was completely empathetic towards them. I wanted to take them in my arms and snuggle them to my bosom. Let them know that it would all be okay and to keep pushing.

It was obvious to me from the beginning that this story was deeply personal to Meghan and she is a very brave soul to put her heart on the line like this. Her letter at the end was nearly my undoing, but since I was reading in public I was able to keep my tears at bay.

If you are looking for a truly honest story that help you see life from a new perspective while ripping your heart out and falling truly madly in love with the characters, the beautifully broken souls buy this book. And Prove Your Existence.

I seriously fell in love with Daisy while reading this book, she will always be one of those characters that stands out in my mind.  Towards the end of the novel she bakes a cake and I searched the internet for this cake, but didn’t come up with anything. So I created my own recipe for the Banana Split Bundt Cake and I have posted it here on the the blog for you guys to either make or just look at lol! Check it out and I hope you enjoy our first ever #MoistMonday post!
