This book was very bittersweet for me, because this series is officially over and I won’t get to spend anymore time with this group of characters and I LOVED them. The first book hooked me and I couldn’t put it down, but now is time to say goodbye.
I don’t think I have found a heroine as likable as Chloe. I related to her a so many levels. The anxiety she has and not knowing if you are on the same page with a date. The amount PODs (peen picks) she received. The ridiculous online dates she went on. Her love of Criminal Minds.
I loved that Boyd just ‘got’ her. He figured out what made her tick and her tells fairly quick and worked around them. He was sweet and intelligent.
The only complaint that I have about this book is that there wasn’t more. I was ready to let Chloe and Boyd go. I wanted more.
Read this series. Please. I loved it.
“Um… Who’s there?”
Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me
you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in
plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.
Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.
But I’m going to get it together. I am.
I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up. I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.
Right after I get out of this interrogation room.
