It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire.
My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States.
This is the story of an American Queen.
First off let me start with this as a warning to you… if you are not into BDSM being dominated or MMF, don’t bother picking up this book. There is a lot of dominating. When I first read this warning, I thought, “Meh… no big deal.” Wrong. There was a LOT for me to take in. I’m good with MMF it was the controlling, punishment that turned me off. So, you’ve been warned. Although, there was the BDSM, it was beautifully written and if I told you it didn’t turn me on, I’d be lying.
Anyway, on with the story. It was hot and the plot was twisted. I didn’t see what was coming. Greer was an interesting character. At times I felt that she was strong and had a lot of backbone, and then she would submit and irritate me… not because she was submitting, but because she didn’t follow the rules. I get that some of the circumstances were odd… but she knew what she was getting in to at that point. I liked both and Ash (when I didn’t picture President Obama) and Emery they both had this magnetic appeal about them that I just adored.
There were lots of secrets that were fun to see come undone and I can’t wait to see what else this series has to offer.
